Jaguar ended the I-PACE after the 2024 model year. CarComplaints has almost no reports, so an owner forum fills in. The 2019 draws by far the most NHTSA complaints, and most concern the high voltage battery, including overheating recalls that cap charging at 80 percent and tell owners to park outside, and many owners mention the charge cap or a buyback. The 2020 draws fewer complaints, mostly about the battery too. On Reddit, a 2019 owner reports the car will not charge past 80 percent after the recall repair. Recalls cover battery overheating, loose battery busbar fasteners and a regenerative brake fault. [1] [2] [3]

The I-Pace is Jaguar's dedicated electric SUV. The VIN appears on the driver's door pillar, on the dashboard plate at the lower windshield, and in the vehicle's digital menu. A battery housing label under the vehicle replaces the engine bay stamp. I-Pace was subject to a significant battery recall (2020-2021), the VIN check will confirm whether the relevant recall remedy was completed on any used example.
