CarComplaints lists peeling paint for the 2011 QX56, a failed timing chain and a failed catalytic converter for 2012, hard shifts after reverse and transmission failure for the 2015 QX80, and battery drain and rod knock for 2019. The name changed to QX80 for 2014, and Infiniti replaced this generation for 2025.
