The TT roadster places its VIN on a plate at the base of the driver's side windshield and on the door sill label on the driver's side. A firewall stamp inside the engine compartment and the door jamb sticker complete the set. The 8S generation starts with the 2014 model year; the VIN’s 10th character (E for 2014) shows which side of that line a car falls on.
