NHTSA complaints on the 2023 mention brakes, screen faults and stalls, and CarComplaints has only nine reports for 2023, led by bad rear shocks, an air conditioner defective from the factory and turn signals without power. Recalls on 2023 models cover an alternator terminal nut that may loosen and cause a stall, a brake booster diaphragm that can cut power assist and side curtain air bags that may have been twisted during installation. Engine trouble leads NHTSA complaints for the 2017, with owners describing check engine lights, stalls, oil consumption and engine failure, and some reporting fires. CarComplaints ranks excessive oil consumption first for 2017, followed by engine failure and rodents chewing the soy-based engine wiring.
